Biblical knowledge

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and is useful for all things pertaining to godly living and spiritual transformation, and is foundational for following Jesus as He desires us to.

Therefore, we commit to preaching and Bible teaching that strengthens our faith, instructs our church, and renews our mind through the reading and teaching of the Word, so that a godly heart and attitude of each person would be evident.

Deu 11:18-21, Col 1:28-29, II Tim 3:14-17, Heb 4:12-13

Prayer

We believe God desires His people to pray and seek Him in prayer, knowing that He hears the prayers of His saints and responds to them as a caring Heavenly Father.

Therefore, we commit to enter the presence of God through prayer, both individually and corporately, and to seek Him in prayer for every decision and in every circumstance.

Psa 5:1-3, Mat 7:7-11, Eph 3:20-21, Phi 4:6-7

Fellowship

We believe the church is a family united by a mutual bond of love and devotion to Christ and each other, where we consider one another before ourselves and seek to live as the body of Christ in our affections, prayers, and service.

Therefore, we commit to one another through encouragement, prayer, service, and seasons of joyous activity that strengthens our love for one another and draws us closer to Christ together.

Service

We believe Jesus came to serve and not be served, setting an example for His followers of how to use our abilities and resources to further the Kingdom of God.

Therefore, we commit to function as a unified body of servants. using our time, spiritual gifts, and talents to serve others and stir up acts of love as we express our compassion and humility to those who do not know Christ.

Relationships

We believe God has placed the people, families, church members, co-workers and classmates, neighbors, and communities in our lives so He would be glorified through us. God gave us our relationships so we would know Him more and make Him known to others.

Therefore, we commit to our community in service, our neighbors in kindness, our co-workers and classmates in love, our church members in grace, our families in the instruction of the Lord, and commit to be a witness for Christ’s love to all people around us.

Giving

We believe God has provided all things to those whom He loves so that His followers, as stewards of God’s possessions, would cheerfully provide to those in need in return and that giving our money, time, and families to God is an act of worship.

Therefore, we commit ourselves to support the work of the church and help others in need by giving of our finances, skills, and time.

Worship

We believe Worship is obediently declaring the greatness, and holiness of God, and facilitating a spirit of adoration toward Him, both publicly and privately.

Therefore, we commit to corporate worship that is bold and meaningful to the One who created us through participation in praise, spiritual songs, prayer, and renewing the mind through God’s Word.

Rom 12:1-2, 1 Cor 2:16, John 4:24, Psa 99:1-9

Evangelism

We believe the Great Commission is the basis of the work of the church. All our resources and people must be used to share that God desires to restore all into a right relationship with Him through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ

Therefore, we commit to personal evangelism as we pray for the lost and take every opportunity to share the Gospel with our community and those we care for, as well as doing all we can to reach people through mission giving and sending.
